The show is fine as is, not necessarily have to do with mc. I believe this donghua has more to do with storyline and background information than just fighting, which fine considering xiekaihua and nangong woman. Now subaiyi and senior sister, smash.

Yeah people just can't be patient, I'd see if the MC was complete trash and did nothing, but we've seen his potential and know what he'll be like. Now I understand about some series MC's but this one is far more promising. I like the oven bake/pot roast slow cook rather than microwave.

Another slice of life lover dude in here..nah dis is boring we want hype,kaboom,awesome ,badass fight scenes.

The women on the boat are actually much competent than the men lol. I wouldn't say the mc is useless, he has potential and HAD the opportunity to get stronger while he was with his teacher, but he didn't take it seriously and now he's paying for it. The only thing that can save him is his hidden power.

Can't wait any longer for next episode!
